There is a bear in the yard.
I don’t go out.
There is rampant confusion’
and a profusion of doubt.
But I stick to my guns.
I find joy in each day.
And I wait with patience
’til the bear goes away.
My time is well spent.
I’m still healthy and whole.
My house is in order,
and I’m on a roll.
