Tick tock, birds flock,
spring is finally here.
Tock tick, so quick,
our insect friends appear.
Some come in a black cloud,
tiny teeth with wings.
Others form a choir
of predators that sing.
Finally creepy crawlers
approach us from the ground,
seeking out a tasty meal
without a single sound.
Some would say these creatures
have come to do no good,
but I believe the universe
unfolds as it should.
