An eagle has landed.
A spec in the sky
has usurped, with feathers,
a maple nearby.
At first we are silent,
a tinge of fear,
and then admiration
exhorts a loud cheer.
So often in life
we’re not sure what to do,
when the unexpected
bursts out of the blue.
