The weatherman is telling me,
it’s getting cold again.
Since I’m the one who lives here,
I guess I can’t complain.
It seems to happen every year.
It’s not such a surprise.
I thought with global warming,
we’d make a compromise.
The metronome of seasons
is ticking on its way.
I rather doubt there’s anything
that could cause delay.
