A mask could be effacing,
but it serves to emphasize,
the inherent beauty
of a lady’s eyes.
Some apply disparagement
to covering the face,
even to the level
of calling it disgrace.
However, at this juncture,
the mask I must extol,
for it makes me focus
on the windows of the soul.
