Memories, memories,
what this day is for,
to celebrate the heroes
that have gone to war.
Certainly we’re grateful
for their sacrifice,
believing in liberty
at whatever price.
Also we are hopeful
that the wars will cease,
our future heroes being
those who live in peace.
